CCC#33 Altered Metal with Alcohol Inks

I love this stamp from the 'Queen's Dresser Drawers', just a little plug, she's got a lot of great stamps. I used a metal star for this weeks technique, check out the how to in the CCC manual. This was simple and fun. I think the colored metal adds a nice coordinating detail, so I will be keeping this one in mind too. Mosey on yonder to Linda's Studio L3 and All Things Tim, for some samples that'll knock yer socks off!

    Oh I have to order that stamp!! (I'm in a rural area where there are lots of cowboys and cowgirls. I grew up riding horseback, myself.) Love your colors...everything about this tag.

    Great tag! just the kind of thing from someone who lives in Arizona:) I agree this was a great technique for adding a really great touch to something.

    I don't know-- I think this cowgirl is WAY too fabulous to have the blues! What a spectacular work of art, Shelann! The design is great, the colors are GORGEOUS, and the altered metal star is absolutely perfect. I love the rope laced through the edge and little rings along the side. Awesome work, my dear!

    Love your tag! My husband should have been born back in the old western days, as he is a cowboy at heart! Love those stamp images, and the star is perfect!
