Patina pages on textured wallpaper boarder. This was fun to combine paints to get the patina and copper colors. The texture paper really allows the paints to get into nooks and crannies which makes the paper look like old copper. It was simple and fun to make.

Abstract landscape
I finally finished my first abstract landscape practice page. This was an incredible challenge for me, but it was a good one. I learned a lot about color values and blending acrylics, just the tip of the iceberg. I will be completing this on panels so there will be more, and hopefully better.

Nebula art for Wanderlust class
This was one of the most interesting techniques yet. As I followed the lesson blindly, I watched these two nebula type pages evolve. I think that these are a great base for art journal pages and were a lot of fun, quick and easy too.
Watercolor landscape; Wanderlust class
This was a fun, especially since I am somewhat intimated by watercolors. For the texture seen in the backgrounds I let dry salt crystals in the grass, Saran Wrap in the sky and cut string along the bottom of the grass. It was a very interesting technique and again, a lot of fun.

IW ribbon collage
I didn't have a bunch of ribbons so I combined washi tape, papers and raffle tickets with a couple of ribbons. I worked in as much texture as I could with what I had on hand, so I like the results overall.
IW Be Joyful!
This was a project that was fun to see the texture of the joint tape along with the fun color palette pop together. The gold works great with the colors and the stenciled poppies are happy too.
Collage Finnabair style
This was a fun project and the first of its kind for me. It took a while to do and it's got more color than the typical Finnabair designs, but that's the way it worked for me.
