CCC#19 Extreme Masking

At Linda's Studio L3 and All Things Tim, it's extreme masking. Sounds cool like extreme 4 x 4 or extreme sports, so of course I'm going to give it a try. I masked the umbrella guy from Tim Holtz's "Life's possibilities" collection. The inks are all distress inks, spiced marmalade, stormy sky and shabby shutters. I imagine the umbrella guy whistling, 'singing in the rain' , overlooking the landscape and pondering life's possibilities. Sure, why not! If you wanted Halloween, since we're running out of time for that, then imagine umbrella guy looking out for goblins and tricks...

  6. Shelann, this is one of my favorite works of art from you yet, and that's saying A LOT, because I always love your work! What a magnificent example of extreme masking, and a truly gorgeous tag all the way around.

I love the thought of him whistling "Singing in the Rain" and imagining all those possibilities.. or goblins. Either way, he's fabulous!

  7. I love it! I had to look back in my 'stash'....to find that wonderful tree. The image of him looking out on a scary group of characters is perfect.
