Simon Says Stamp and CCC#27 Distress Misting Masks
Misting masks is not something I've done much of before. And there are two masking challenges, Simon Says Stamp and Studio L3Week 27 for the Compendium of Curiosities challenge. I used victorian velvet and walnut with a Tattered Angel's corner and key masks. It was a quick process and the masking actually looks better in the picture than up close. It's rare the tag photographs better than the original. Anyway, I like the stamp because it reminds me of people from an era gone by and I always wonder what their story was. Have fun masking!

ReplyDeleteYour masking tag is great! I love the way you created shadow and light, making it appear that we're looking through a sunny window into the past!

Your tag is absolutely gorgeous!! I love all the little details.
ReplyDeleteSuper work on the masking challenge! I love that you masked the key right over the main image - very cool! The colors are wonderful too! So happy you could join in the fun with us this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! What a brilliant design, Shelann. The masking looks awesome and the color scheme is so vintage and pretty. That stamp is so sweet, and suits the tag perfectly, and yes, it does make you wonder what their story is! As always-- you did a spectacular job on the CCC!
