Monoprinting CCChallenge #3

Well hum.... I thought this would be simpler. I tried more ink, less ink, different color combos, some were muddy or too metallic. Then, when I got a background I liked I had trouble stamping on it. It was fun doing the free form thing, I spinned the paper, swirled it figure eight-ed it... This was the best that I produced. I will have to re-explore this technique when I have more time and patience. I would love to know what you did to master the monoprinting.

  1. Shelann, I think you *did* master the monoprinting! This is a GORGEOUS piece!

That's the thing about this technique-- you choose the colors and the rest will take care of itself. I love what you created, and the stamps are perfect for the colors you used.

I'm so happy you joined in again this week, and hope to see you again for the 4th Challenge!

  2. This is fabulous! I found I had trouble stamping where I had put metallic ink. Plus, it was slippery on the glossy paper. I must remember to be steady handed.
