CCC#16 Wrinkle Free Distress
Some of you are on a cruise with Tim and a bunch of other lucky dogs. hum... Well I'm having some fun of my own here with Challenge #16 and I won't get seasick either! After a long relaxing weekend in the mountains I'll top the break off with Wrinkle Free Distress before going back to work tomorrow. I used antique photo, brushed burlap and faded jeans inks along with some of Tim's stamps. I didn't get the less is more part here, it seemed like I dabbed in the ink for a while. I like the effect, there is alot of texture in the background, big smears, little dots etc. Fun again!

Oh, honey, I WISH I was on that cruise. But alas, I'm landlocked and planning for next year's trip instead. I just extended this week's challenge so those lucky ducks who ARE going don't have to rush.
ReplyDeleteBut enough about me. That tag is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the colors you used, and the sweet photo just makes my heart happy. Great stamping, too, and the filmstrip embellishment is perfect.
You and I and the rest of the non-cruisers will have to content ourselves with extra art these next couple of weeks. That's my plan, anyway! ;-)
I am loving your tag! I haven't tried the darker colors..yet...it is a two week challenge though! I love the frame and photo! How did you do that? Glossy accents? Very smooth...
ReplyDeleteThat tag totally pops with the colors you chose. Lovely!
