Dusty concord and peeled paints DI's, Tim Holtz's stamps and a lot ofembellishment on this one. I over-sprayed the entire tag with the Tattered Angel's glimmer mist and I like what it did, but it doesn't show up well in the photo. I also tried the 3D flowers for the first time.
Oh well, I hope it inspires like all of yours! I have fun doing them, so I'll try to channel that into a birthday card
now.... wish me luck.
Shelann its gorgeous and what great flowers, never seen these before, just love them. x

I love your tag! The flowers came out great! And those little star brads are perfect! Who makes them?
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag! so much detail, I love the stick pin
ReplyDeletewith the "life", have never seen those before.
Another awesome piece. Fabulous colors and details.
ReplyDeletevery nicely done! love the flowers and the technique is fab!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely inspires, Shelann! This is beautiful. The wrinkle-free distress looks even better with the glimmer spray- you can really see in the second photo how it subtly blends the ink colors without making them muddy. I love the collage look, and those flowers are AMAZING! The little JOY letters are such a great touch and the "Life" charm is TOO COOL!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job on this, girlfriend!!!
