Checkout T!m Holtz, CCC3, Challenge number dos over at Linda's Studio, with the Crew sponsored by Funkie Junkie. This one was using Distress Glitter. I had to think about it since I'm inclined to stay far away from glitter, as I'm not the sparkly kind and I'm too OCD for the thought of glitter. I was however able to get over myself and come up with this little sparkly tag, using grunge board wings and flourish, covered in Victorian Velvet and Shabby Shutters. The winged Princess is one of T!ms new lost relatives, and I embellished her wings with perfect pearls. I survived the glittering and may just be a convert.

Love this Shelann! I get where you're coming from with normal glitter but isn't this stuff fantastic?! I would never have thought of mixing VV and SS - great combo, beautiful wings. Jenny x
ReplyDeleteShelann...this is such a cute tag! I so love the shabby chic/vintageness of it! I recognized the little "queen" from Tim's Lost Relatives. What a wonderful way to use just her! :) Her wings are so pretty and the glittery goodness you've added to the and the flourish behind is such a nice touch! Thanks for sharing your art with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
ReplyDeleteBrilliant and beautiful!!! I love the design, and the glittery wings and foliage! Awesome!
